PROVYS IBC 2026 news uncovered
The session will focus on three areas: live sports workflows in PROVYS Sphere, the next stage of AI-supported broadcast management, and new developments in playout and real-time graphics.
Live sports planning in PROVYS Sphere
When fixtures move or events overrun, recordings, replays, and supporting content must remain connected to the updated plan.
We will preview developments designed to support these changes across planning and transmission workflows. The focus will be on maintaining a clear operational structure rather than updating disconnected records and tools.
AI agents for broadcast planning
The next stage of AI in broadcast planning is not another isolated assistant. It is a group of specialised agents working together on a complete planning objective.
We will present how this approach can connect strategic intent with operational detail while keeping validation, approvals, and final decisions under the broadcaster’s control. The planner remains responsible for the channel’s identity and priorities, while AI supports analysis and routine execution.
Playout and real-time graphics
We will touch upon the latest developments in Stream Circle deployment flexibility, including support for Linux environments and Amazon AWS infrastructure. We will also talk about Tweenly’s transition to on-air graphics control through Tweenly On Air, a new application for triggering and updating broadcast graphics during live output.

Unlock the potential of your broadcast
Sport planning
PROVYS Sphere Pro covers the full sport channel workflow: importing fixtures via OPTA, scheduling live events across TV and digital channels, and managing replays, recordings and supporting content. It lets you adjust plans on the fly, ensures secure signal delivery, and keeps every broadcast under complete control.
PROVYS Sphere Lite ALL-IN-ONE
One system, every function covered. PROVYS Sphere Lite combines content planning, rights management, EPG, and ads and promotions management with online publishing, giving you a modern, web-based way to run your broadcast.
AI/MCP
Our upcoming update takes the AI assistant embedded in PROVYS Sphere even further. It already automates translations, generates rich EPG synopses, and gives feedback on metadata, and the next release will unlock deeper AI-driven capabilities, changing the way broadcasters work with data and content.
Stream Circle
Stream Circle is broadening its deployment options, adding support for Linux environments and Amazon AWS infrastructure to give broadcasters greater scalability, reliability, and cloud-native flexibility.
Tweenly On Air
Tweenly is launching the On Air app for live graphics, giving broadcasters and creators the ability to add dynamic visuals to live productions, from sports to entertainment. Users will be able to design and control animated HTML graphics, including lower thirds, titles, and data-driven elements, in real time.
