Social Responsibility

Our internal corporate regulations on social responsibility are based on the requirements of Social Accountability International.

 

Child Labour

We do not use or support of child labour.

 

Forced and Compulsory Labour

We do not use or support forced or compulsory labour. We do not require ‘deposits’ – financial or otherwise. We do not withhold salary, benefits, property or documents to force personnel to continue work. Each personnel have right to leave the work premises after the workday. Each personnel is free to terminate their employment. We do not support human trafficking.

 

Health and Safety (H&S)

We provide a safe and healthy workplace. We prevent potential occupational accidents. We appoint senior managers to ensure H&S instruction for all personnel. We have a system to detect, avoid, respond to risks, and we record all accidents. We provide personal protection equipment and medical attention in event of work-related injury. We remove and  reduce risks to new and expectant mothers. We follow all hygiene rules for toilet, potable water and sanitary food storage.

 

Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining

We respect the right to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively. All personnel are free to: organise trade unions of their choice; and bargain collectively with their employer.

 

Discrimination

There is no discrimination based on race, national or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, political opinions, age or wide variety preferences. There is no discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, and retirement.

 

Disciplinary Practices

We treat all personnel with dignity and respect. There is zero tolerance of corporal punishment, mental or physical abuse of personnel. We do not tolerate harsh or inhumane treatment.

 

Working Hours

There is compliance with laws & industry standards. The team members work durig standard workweek. Overtime is voluntary and not regular. 

 

Remuneration

We respect right of personnel to a living wage. All workers are paid at least the legal minimum wage. Wages are sufficient to meet basic needs & provide discretionary income. Wages and benefits are clearly communicated to workers and paid in convenient manner. Overtime is paid at premium rate.
