PROVYS Production in STV

The installation of the PROVYS TVoffice Production module in Slovak Television has been successfully finished. It completed the next stage of the total information system reconstruction of the Slovakian national public broadcaster.

Integrated with other modules of PROVYS TVoffice such as Strategic Planning, Broadcast Scheduling and Content Management, and with the Noris ERP system, the Production modules guarantee the best possible reuse of data entered into the integrated system and the full integrity of all information in the database. The Strict Workflow module urges users to finish requested tasks in the right sequence.

The deployment of the new information systems allows Slovak Television to control their own production with fewer staff and at lower costs but with no impact on amount and/or quality. The system is a strong tool giving the production managers an option to independently plan production tasks with respect to resource availability and production costs. For the producers, information about all internal and external expenses are made available on-line. Thanks to the internal accounting it is possible to efficiently plan and evaluate investments into the production technology.

The full implementation of the whole PROVYS TVoffice system will be completed this autumn by finishing the ongoing installation of the Management Informational module.
