PROVYS has finished the beta-testing cycle of the production management module

The PROVYS division of DCIT has completed the implementation and beta-testing cycle of the production management module of the PROVYS TVoffice software solution for broadcasters.

The production management module implemented by the PROVYS team supports a complete set of activities of the production cycle including budgeting, resource management, production planning, resource planning, resource dispatching, resource usage costing and reporting. All implemented functions are highly configurable to fit the wide range of requirements and needs of different broadcasters. The users will get accustomed to advanced graphics of the production module as well as to dynamic resource management functions and dispatching screens. Having in mind the time-consuming tasks of the production management the PROVYS TVoffice production module offers several kinds of speed-up techniques such as resource groups, project templates, bulk rescheduling and resource assignments, usage reports generators and other tools to simplify the office work of the production team.

Thanks to configurable interfaces of the PROVYS TVoffice solution the production module offers multiple interfacing options to integrate the module with a financial management software to provide data on spent resources, costs and utilisation.

The production management module is completely integrated with the original parts of the PROVYS TVoffice software - such integration provides the broadcaster with a complete information and process support from long-term programme planning through acquisition, production to the material and content management operations.

Having information on the features and functions of the production management module the management of the Slovak television has decided to order the production management module as an extension to the original implementation of the PROVYS TVoffice solution in this dynamically developing station. The PROVYS team has also received several requests for information on the new production management module and is considering implementation for both public and commercial television stations.
