Provys TVoffice in Poland for the first time

DCIT, s.r.o., a Prague-based supplier of station management software to broadcasters, announces signing of a new contract for the supply of PROVYS TVoffice to Telewizja Polsat S.A.

Telewizja Polsat S.A., the most successful commercial television in Poland, has decided to support its processes with PROVYS TVoffice solution.

Polsat, the first Polish private TV, was established and first appeared on satellite in December 1992. Since 1993 Polsat has had a licence for terrestrial broadcasting in Poland. During the following 10 years TV Polsat has become one of the supreme leaders in contemporary media market in Poland. Its broadcast content is aimed principally at audience seeking entertainment, with the genre representation consisting of both foreign and Polish feature films, series, soap operas, various competitions, sitcoms, reality shows and sport programmes.

Last year, the selective procedure for an integrated station management system was held in Polsat and it was PROVYS TVoffice that has been chosen as the system meeting requirements of the station the closest.

The installation process is already underway and PROVYS TVoffice is expected to go live at Polsat´s channels in March 2004. For the present, PROVYS TVoffice will be used by three channels: Polsat, Polsat Sport and Polsat 2. At some time in the future the usage will be possibly extended further to other channels.
